In MINT, ORIGINAL CONDITION, Fountain Pen NEVER INKED, USED or DISPLAYED! Note: While this fountain pen has never been inked I did dip it to test (try) the nib and then carefully cleaned it and put it away for years in my pen closet. The fountain pen has never been written with. About the Pen: The Reminiscence writing instruments are acknowledged for painstaking attention to detail. The Greek etched octagonal shape is simply stunning and the gracious form of the clip in silver with the characteristic revolving sphere and the beautiful wooden box finely compliments these unique pens! The Fountain Pen has an 18k Fine (F) gold nib.Fountain Pen Dimensions: 5"(Capped) - 6 1/2" (Posted) - 2"(Cap) - 1/2" (width). The pen does post (meaning the cap does screw on to the barrel) for writing ease. The pen dates from 1980 and does show some minor surface scratches in the silver even though it has not been used it has been handled on occasion. Crafted in 925 Sterling Silver and embossed with the Greek key symbol the pen is made in Italy. The pen comes with all original packaging (outer green 1912 Montegrappa cardboard box does shows some minor age wear), polishing cloth and instruction manual. The pen features a smooth 925 sterling silver body.Solid construction. Made in Italy. Montegrappa pens have been manufactured since 1912. Their premises stands in the same historic building on the bank of the River Brenta, in one of the most picturesque areas of the historic town of Bassano del Grappa in the prosperous north-eastern part of Italy. This Italian heritage is an important value for a brand that is the first Italian pen manufacturer: it is his tradition, his legacy. Since 1912, Montegrappa pens embody the Italian flair. A quality sterling silver pen. Engraved marks on the separate pieces. Surface wear patina commensurate with age and use. The Micra fountain pens are fitted with a standard sized cartridge (by Montegrappa) feeding system. To fit the cartridge, first remove the section from the barrel by twisting the barrel in the counter clockwise direction. Simply insert the cartridge into the section. Please ensure the cartridge fits neatly into the section to break the safety seal and start the ink flow. Clean the excess ink from the nib and section with a piece of tissue or disposable cloth.
