I am offering a pen produced by the legendry Japanese
Ban-Ei group for Visconti in 1991. It is their Balance type, with ebonite body
and feed and deep red shu-urushi finish.This is a very rare and much sought after pen.
All the artisans involved are masters and G. Kabutogi is known as one of the
greatest nibmeisters of all time.The basic type is illustrated in “Fountain pens
of Japan” (Lambrou & Sunami), pages 75-76. The actual pen type here offered
