In 1992 Montblanc created the first Writer's Series Edition and the Ernest Hemingway was the first chosen model. Ernest Hemingway was undoubtedly one of the greatest writers of the 20th century. The Montblanc coral red and dark brown of the MB Writers Edition Ernest Hemingway is reminiscent of a Montblanc 139 pen from 1930s, the decade in which Hemingway first enjoyed critical success.
