This 1915-1930 Waterman No 452 Sterling Silver Filigree Overlay fountain pen is in very nicely preserved estate condition. There are no chips or cracks to the black hard rubber body, the silver filigree is excellent with no cracks or issues I can see – the cartouche remains uninscribed and the pen is signed in several places Watermans Sterling and Made in USA. The 14K Gold Waterman Ideal nib is a No 2 or 3, not a noodle but SERIOUSLY FLEXIBLE, Medium with lots of iridium. The barrel end is impressed 452, the barrel is signed near the end with the Waterman logo. The clip is signed STERLING and IDEAL, the lever is similarly signed.
