Series Leonard Bernstein Fountain Pen I have been collecting pens, pen accessories and coins for over 30 years and I have decided to downsize my personal collections (selling virtually my entire pen collection). For sale from my new-old-stock is a Montblanc Limited Edition Donation Series Leonard Bernstein Fountain Pen with an 18K Gold Fine (F) Nib. In MINT, ORIGINAL CONDITION, NEVER DIPPED, INKED, USED or DISPLAYED! About the Fountain Pen: Leonard Bernstein was a musician through and through. Whether he was conducting, composing, teaching or playing the piano, he always did it with true passion. His first appearance as a conductor of the New York Philharmonic Orchestra at the age of only 25 years brought him overnight fame - it was the start of an unprecedented career, Bernstein composed unforgettable melodies and world-famous musicals such as "West Side Story", "On the Town" and "Candide". Leonard Bernstein's talent for bringing harmony into the finest detail is reflected in the Donation Pen dedicated to this great artist. For example, the gold-plated cap rings of the pen are inscribed with music and lyrics from the song "Maria" from "west Side Story" and are a testimony to Bernstein's musical ability. The clip is shaped into an artistically curved clef symbol, and the Leonard Bernstein fountain pen reaches a crescendo in the handmade nib, with its delicate engraving of a dove. Note: While everything is new, unused about this pen and box set, for some reason I did remove the plastic overwrap that use to cover the music CD (not sure why I did this) but nothing in this package has ever been used (or played)!
