In the letter, the pope addressed bishops, priests, deacons, religious and all the faithful Montegrappa commemorates this with their Tertio Millennio Adveniente Limited Edition Fountain Pen. This one is #0191/1912.The barrel is constructed of beautiful, pearlescent celluloid, which gives one the impression of Renaissance-era parchment. Atop it lies the sterling silver and enamel overlay.The sterling overlay is a combination of Montegrappa's low relief (background texture engraving) and high relief angels, clouds, and window frame. The centerpiece is a representation of the slightly elliptical stained glass window. It has an outer frame of high relief sterling, and inner frames done in the same manner. In the center is a white-enameled dove representing the holy spirit with radiating rays and overlaid with incredible enamel work graduating from a golden yellow center to a deep reddish-orange at the outer edge. Montblanc Boheme Dove Platinum Plated Retractable Fountain Pen 8582 w/EF 18K Nib
Montblanc Boheme Dove Platinum Plated Retractable Fountain Pen 8582 with EF 18K White Gold NibI purchased the fountain pen some 15 to 20 years ago. It has seen little to no use and has been stored in my collection. It comes with what I believe is its original black case and original proper outer box. The box indicates that the nib is EF; however, I do not see the nib size indicated on the pen itself. It does not come with the original brochure as I must have misplaced this paperwork. This pen is in excellent plus condition. Absolutely no signs of use. The Montblanc Serial Number for this pen is etched on the cap and is XZ1004368. The nib is marked with the numbers "4810" and is engraved with the notations: 18K, Montblanc, 750. There is also some nice scroll engraving on the nib along with the Montblanc star emblem. In researching this pen it appears this model was first made in 1999 and discontinued in 2014. I have attached a video showing how smooth and satisfying the retractable nib locks into place. There is a nice crystal synthetic onyx gemstone in the clip. I doubt this pen has ever been used so it may be necessary to use a quality fountain pen flush to help lubricate the pen before you start writing with this beautiful pen. Please study the pictures for the best description of the fountain pen and condition. The wood pen display stand is not included.
